VIP Program

The District 6 2010 VIP Program

Responding directly to feedback from our recent membership survey, PIHRA District 6 is constructing a 2010 schedule of presentations tailored to meet member preferences.

Topics your Program Committee has confirmed:

  • Coordinating Leaves of Absence
  • Facebook and other Social Media
  • Becoming a Strategic Business Partner
  • Addressing Sensitive Issues with Employees
  • Internal Investigations
  • Performance Management
  • Labor Law Updates
  • Generational Diversity
  • Employment Law Review and a Look to 2011

In addition to the above, there will again be a series of evening “Network and Learn” social gatherings to network in a relaxed atmosphere and get to know each other better.  Your Board is additionally exploring joint ventures and timely briefings on emerging trends in HR.

By popular demand, the District will again in 2010 offer the VIP Package.  Members who have paid for a PIHRA membership for calendar year 2010 will have the opportunity to purchase the 2010 District 6 VIP Package.  This $275.00 package provides a fully transferable admission to each of our ten monthly meetings—including all higher priced expanded format meetings such as the annual employment law review and ALL other District “Network and Learn” events—for one set price.  The VIP Package not only offers a price break, but protects against increases throughout next year.

Other advantages of the District 6 VIP Package program:

  • Fully transferable admission tickets to each of the ten District 6 meetings.  These monthly passes can be used by the member or given to someone of their choice if the member is unable to personally attend.
  • Admission to all “Network and Learn” events
  • Elimination of increased “at-the-door” prices by including confirmed reservations for each of the monthly meetings without the necessity of a monthly RSVP.
  • Expedited admission without having to wait in line at the check-in table.
  • Avoidance of the need to pay monthly and recurring internal reimbursement procedures and paperwork.
  • A single receipt for tax or other reimbursement purposes.

For more information or to arrange for purchase of the 2010 PIHRA District 6 VIP Package, contact either the District Chair Mery Propster, SPHR or District Treasurer Ray Cooke, PHR.  Your application and check can be brought to the next PIHRA District 6 breakfast meeting and delivered to the treasurer.
